Minnesota Timberwolves: 5 bold predictions for 2017-18 NBA season

1. The Wolves will make it to the NBA Finals

With all the moves this offseason, the Wolves actually have less focus on them lately. They still are a team that many see as a year or two away to be a contender. Much of that is based on how strong Golden State is, but that might just allow the Wolves to sneak to the NBA Finals.

It is a long NBA season and teams get hot at different times in the year. The Wolves have enough talent on offense and defense to beat any team in the NBA. If they put it together, there is no reason why they can not go all the way. The Warriors are good, but they are not unbeatable, especially with players like Kevin Durant having an injury history. They must go into the season wanting to go all the way because they may miss an amazing opportunity if they don’t.

The first bold prediction was that the Wolves would beat the Warriors twice during the season. They will have to beat them at least four more times to make this one happen.
