2. Average at least 16 points per game

Jordan’s offensive game has been criticized at times in recent years and he has a chance to take it to a much larger scale this season. L.A. will be asking Jordan to handle more scoring and 16 points per game is a solid goal for him to reach for.

After averaging 12.7 points per game last season, which was a career-high tying number, Jordan should get more than the 7.1 shots per game that he attempted last season.

L.A. will need him to score more consistently from the foul line as we have already touched on, but will also need to find ways to score more from the floor.

Don’t be surprised if Jordan ends up averaging more than 16 points per game. He certainly has more offensive potential than he has shown thus far and Rivers will need him to show that this year.
