3. Block at least 2.5 shots per game

There is no denying the defensive dominance that Jordan has had throughout his career. He has blocked 1.8 shots per game on average during his career, but will be asked to take that number to new heights in 2017-18.

Paul was one of the Clippers’ top perimeter defenders. How could that impact Jordan’s game you ask? Quite simply, opposing teams will get into the paint more often than they have in recent years.

Jordan will need to protect the rim for the Clippers and will be asked to block and alter shots. He has been more than capable of doing that for L.A., but becoming an even more lethal shot-blocker would help make the Clippers’ defense even more tough to play against.

Expect to see Jordan’s shot-blocking numbers skyrocket this season. He will embrace his role as a dominant rim protector and 2.5 blocks per game is a more than reasonable goal for him.
