1. Become a leader

This season is all about growing for Murray. Whether that be growing into a better scorer, passer or overall player, he needs to grow. But, there is one area that Murray needs to excel in more than others, and that is becoming a leader for this team.

Often times, the point guard is the captain of the team. He leads the offense and other players look to him to lead them to a victory. Even though he is 21 years old, he can still become that for this team.

He is going to have to learn and learn fast this year. He is essentially being thrown to the wolves and has to learn how to be great on his own. This is a great opportunity for him to play in this position while Parker recovers.
