3. Help the Spurs get off to a good start

Murray is going to have an immense amount of pressure going into this new season, mostly because he will be trying to fill the shoes of Parker, which is not easy.

The Western Conference only got stronger this offseason, which means that the Spurs are going to have a tough time maintaining a high seed. Since Parker is out, if the Spurs get off to a rough start, Murray will be the first to blame.

He needs to be able to handle the pressure and do what he needs to do to win. Whether that be scoring, passing or just setting up the proper offense, he needs to be nearly perfect. If he is able to get the Spurs rolling with wins early, it is likely he will remain the starting point guard for the entire time Parker is out.

If he works hard, this should not be a problem for him. Like mentioned earlier, he is surrounded by talent, so he will be in good hands.
