4. Average 8 points per game

Although Murray struggled with his assist numbers last season, he was able to score the ball. During his 8.5 minutes, he was able to score 3.4 points per game on 43 percent shooting. With his minutes rising this season, his points per game should rise too.

Murray needs be aggressive on the offensive end this year. He is not going to be the team’s primary scorer, but he will still get his chances to score.

Leonard and Aldridge are going to be the ones drawing the attention from the defense. When the double-team comes in on Leonard, who is going to be the one that is open? Murray will be. He is going to be able to get his shots every night he goes out there. He needs to make sure he is hitting the shots he gets.

Aside from shooting, Murray needs to attack the rim. His lateral quickness and athleticism can get him to to the rim with ease. He will either be fouled or hit the shot most of the time. If Murray is successful at being aggressive, eight points will be easy to reach.
