2. Average 5 rebounds per game

Another area of Jaylen Brown’s game that could use some improvement is his rebounding. He averaged just 2.8 rebounds per game last season, but the Celtics will need him to improve this year.

Looking at the projected starting lineup, the Celtics will have two decent rebounders playing in the frontcourt. Al Horford and Aron Baynes are both capable rebounders. Unfortunately, Hayward is not known for his rebounding and Irving is a point guard that shouldn’t be expected to rebound much.

Brown is a very athletic forward that should be able to improve his rebounding average to at least five per game.

If Brown can rebound the basketball better, it will be a major plus for the Celtics and will help him earn more minutes. He won’t be asked to rack up double-digit rebounds per game, but five per game would be a boost for the Celtics.
