Weakness No. 3: Injuries

With Parker going down and missing out on the first half of the season, this hurts the Spurs. But, it was also announced that Leonard would miss the entire preseason to rehab his quad.

This is one of two injuries that Leonard has been fighting. In Game 1 of last year’s Western Conference Finals, Leonard would injure his ankle and miss the rest of the entire series. Now he is working on his quad that was also injured last year.

While both of these injuries aren’t career-ending by any means, they are still something to keep an eye on. Leonard was the team’s leading scorer last season with 25.5 points per game. He is also the player to ignite the team’s defense with his hustle and determination.

If the Spurs are without Leonard, they will struggle to compete in this wild Western Conference. They need to do everything they can to ensure his health.
