Strength No. 1: A younger roster

The game is always changing. More and more teams have built smaller and younger rosters, which allows them to play faster.

Leading the charge is the Golden State Warriors. They play a very fast-paced offense, which allows them to get buckets in transition easier. If the Spurs want to compete, then they will have to do the same.

Although the Spurs are going to have Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili, they are still considered a young team. Because of this, they will be able to push the ball more. This is not something that we are used to seeing. The Spurs thrived by playing a slower offense by passing around the perimeter until they find the best look possible. That is likely going to change this season.

The Spurs are led by superstar Kawhi Leonard, who is only 26 years old, and with Parker out for the first half of the season, 21-year-old Dejounte Murray will be starting. That means the Spurs will be pushing the ball more than ever.

This younger roster could be what the Spurs need to make it back to the NBA Finals.
