2. George Hill will make an All-Defensive Team

Sacramento was also able to sign George Hill in free agency. Bringing him on board was a bit unexpected, as Hill was in contention last season with the Utah Jazz and it was hard to predict him signing with a rebuilding team. As unexpected as it was, Hill signed with the Kings and will be one of their key players for the upcoming season.

Hill has a made a name for himself on the defensive side of the floor throughout his career. He is known as an aggressive perimeter defender, which is exactly what the Kings need.

Joerger is a defensive-minded coach, which makes the addition of Hill even bigger. Hill will likely be asked to defend the opposition’s best guard each and every night.

Assuming that is his role, Hill will find his way onto one of the NBA’s All-Defensive teams.
