3. Vince Carter will be in the Sixth Man of the Year conversation

While Carter will be a veteran leader for the Kings, he will also have a big year for himself. He will get a large role coming off the bench and will make the most of his opportunity.

Last season with the Memphis Grizzlies, Carter ended up averaging 8.0 points to go with 3.1 rebounds per game. Those numbers don’t look good, but he will have a career resurgence for at least one more season with the Kings. Signing with Sacramento was a bit of a surprise, but Carter will have a much larger role on a young team.

At 40 years of age, competing for the Sixth Man of the Year award will not be easy. Despite the odds against him, Carter will once again prove that he still deserves the “Vinsanity” nickname.

Expect to see Carter put up big numbers this season and be in the Sixth Man of the Year conversation at the end of the season.
