2. Chandler Parsons plays in 65 games

There is no basis for this one other than blind hope. I don’t have any intel that suggests Chandler Parsons has made a full recovery from his various knee injuries. There are no claims of medical miracles. No new procedures. No stories of Parson’s rehab being the most impressive any doctor has ever seen.

But he is on the court, playing real, 5-on-5 basketball, and that is encouraging. The Grizzlies don’t even need to get a full year of Parsons at his best, just most of a year as a net-positive contributor. If he can be an effective floor-spacer that would be sufficient. Certainly more would be welcome. It just wouldn’t be wise to expect that.

Then again, planning on 65 games worth of participation from Parsons may be foolish too.
