1. Seek more involvement in the Rockets’ attack

Ryan Anderson had his fair share of highlight moments with the Rockets last season. Yet, there always remains more room for improvement.

During the offseason, Anderson committed himself to returning in the best shape of his life, losing 10 pounds over the summer in the effort to help his team on both ends of the floor — something the Rockets desperately need from Anderson in order to truly accomplish their ultimate goal.

While no one questions Anderson’s talent to generate buckets from the perimeter, he must seek to become a solid rebounder, defender and complete threat on offense in order to make Houston a problem for other teams across the league.

Anderson can no longer go AWOL down the stretch like he did last postseason, as Harden and Paul will count upon him to help them shoulder the load on both ends of the floor.

If he finds a way to do so, then it could lead to Anderson being a candidate for the league’s Most Improved Player Award once again, and possibly a shot at making it to the NBA Finals — a stage where all players seek to perform someday.
