5. Produce more on offense

Despite scoring in double figures for the Rockets last season, Anderson put together a year that left most fans in Houston begging for more offensive production out of him.

The former California standout averaged nearly 14 points per game and shot 41 percent from the field for the Rockets during the 2016-17 regular season. However, there were several instances where Anderson faded to black on offense.

Most notably during the postseason, as Anderson posted less than 10 points per game, and shot a mere 28.3 percent from downtown in 11 playoff contests.

While Anderson did manage to shine quite often last year with the Rockets more times than not, he possesses the ability as a scorer to produce at a higher clip and emerge as the potential third option within head coach Mike D’Antoni‘s offense.

The big man can shoot the basketball from just about anywhere on the floor, and should he find a way to add a few moves to his offensive repertoire, then Anderson could potentially make a huge impact on a Rockets squad that features one of the game’s most potent offenses…thereby helping the team get one step closer toward winning a championship.
