Quick Thoughts

The only core player removed from the roster last season is Danilo Gallinari, a talented player that struggled to remain healthy throughout his entire tenure in Denver.

Essentially every team in the Western Conference has added star power, but the continuity in Denver may be the difference-maker for the team to snap a four-year playoff drought. The Nuggets missed out on the 2017 postseason by just one game, falling one game under .500 for the season even after closing out the year by winning five of their last seven contests.

For all of the points the team scored, the Denver Nuggets surrendered just as many. Head coach Mike Malone is hoping the addition of Paul Millsap, a key in Atlanta’s superb defensive teams for the past four years, will be enough to help the Nuggets climb in the standings.
