2. Starting frontcourt

Danilo Gallinari made waves at Media Day when he called the Los Angeles Clippers’ new frontcourt the best in the league. His confidence is commendable, and the Clippers could certainly back up his claim next season.

The Clippers have long needed a small forward with at least some offensive punch. They got far more than that in Danilo Gallinari. Gallo is one of the league’s best players on the offensive end; he gets to the free throw line almost at will, and he shoots better than league average from every area of the floor besides from 10-14 feet, per NBA.com.

The other two frontcourt players are already known quantities for L.A. fans. DeAndre Jordan earned his third straight All-NBA nod last year along with his first All-Star appearance. Blake Griffin is still on the short list for the title of best power forward in the league.

Some other teams might have more recognized names in their frontcourt (such as the Kevin Durant/Draymond Green duo), but no other team is as strong at all three spots as the Los Angeles Clippers. The team will do its best to ride this frontcourt trio into the playoffs.
