2. Make All-NBA team

In just two short seasons, Nikola Jokic has managed to finish third in Rookie of The Year voting, second for the Most Improved Player Award, and be named to the All-Rookie First Team.

Now, the time has come for Jokic to truly show that he is indeed the real deal, as making an All-NBA team in his third season would give him the opportunity to do just that.

More from Hoops Habit

During the offseason, the Nuggets lost their leading scorer Danilo Gallinari to the Los Angeles Clippers, and while Denver might not be the same team that it was a year ago, Jokic will now become the No. 1 option in head coach Mike Malone’s offense.

With Jokic serving as the primary scorer and facilitator in the process, the Nuggets will place the basketball in his hands, expecting him to set up his teammates and be an effective presence down low in the post — an area in which The Joker proved to be virtually unstoppable last year, shooting over 60 percent between 3-10 feet.

Should Jokic be named to an All-NBA team this season, it would be yet another major accolade in his young career, as he would become the first Nugget since Anthony to also achieve this feat. He is already in a rare class with his passing ability, and has proven that he is a unique player in a league of his own. Jokic has the potential to be arguably one of the most dominant offensive players the game has ever seen.

Should he take the next step within his game, making the All-NBA Second or Third Team in 2018 is possible.
