4. Average a double-double

Jokic finished in the top 15 among double-double leaders last season, posting a total of 39 for the Nuggets during the 2016-17 regular season. Yet, despite putting together an array of stellar games for Denver, he failed to officially average a double-double in his sophomore campaign.

While many could argue that this was due to Jokic playing only 27.9 minutes per game, the rising star has shown that he has the ability to be the chairman of the boards when he puts his mind to it, and score against the best of them in a variety of ways.

Last season, Jokic hauled in a career-high 21 boards, alongside of 17 points and 12 assists to lead the Nuggets to a 132-110 win at home against the Golden State Warriors on Feb. 13.

Followed up by another scintillating performance to cap off a marquee month, Big Honey scored 19 points with 16 rebounds and 10 assists to guide Denver to an 18-point road victory against the Chicago Bulls on Feb. 28.

Although averaging a double-double might not be seen as a significant goal for Jokic, doing so would give him the opportunity to officially cement his place among the game’s best centers, and possibly help him to accomplish the next goal on this list.
