Bogdan Bogdanovic’s main calling card is his scoring. Bogdanovic has averaged double-figures in each of the last four seasons, and his efficiency has improved each year. He finished 2016-17 with a 62.1 percent true shooting percentage. That percentage bumped up to 65.1 percent against EuroLeague competition.

Bogdanovic’s scoring ability is multi-faceted, as he shoots well both outside and inside the arc. For instance, Bogdanovic shot a career-high 56.9 percent on 2-pointers in EuroLeague games. But it will likely be his outside shooting that the Kings will look to utilize. According to Basketball-Reference, Sacramento was 20th in the NBA in 3-point rate.

Because of this, Bogdanovic should work to maintain his efficiency from outside. He went 37.6 percent from outside across all competitions last year. However, NBA perimeter defenses are more intense than EuroLeague schemes. Therefore, it seems reasonable to aim for the same number that brought him so much success in Europe.
