4. Shoot above 38 percent from 3-point range

Patrick Beverley has been an above-average 3-point shooter throughout his career. With that in mind, fans should expect him to be above-average from deep again next season.

Beverley is a career 37.5 percent shooter from deep. He also relies on that shot as his primary offensive weapon. Indeed, 54.4 percent of his career field goal attempts are from long range, per Basketball-Reference.

Given that Beverley shot 38.2 percent from deep last season, shooting 38 percent from deep in 2017-18 is a pretty reasonable goal. However, he is also playing outside of Houston for the first time in his NBA career. While Blake Griffin will draw a ton of offensive attention, he will not draw as much offensive attention as James Harden did last season. Thus, Beverley will have to work a little bit harder to maintain his accuracy from last season.
