Sixth man

On paper, this is a role that would make a ton of sense. Right now, the weakest part of the Thunder lineup is the bench. By acquiring George and Anthony, the Thunder traded away a majority of their depth. One way to fix that would be to have Anthony come off the bench as the sixth man.

With Westbrook and George in the starting lineup, the Thunder have more than enough offense. Patrick Patterson would most likely be the starting power forward, giving them some much-needed floor spacing. Steve Adams would control the paint with Andre Roberson playing his ace defensive role.

By coming off the bench, Anthony would remain the No. 1 option when on the court. It is a role we have seen Anthony thrive in throughout his career, as he can still fill it up even as he heads into his age-33 season.

There is no denying that Anthony can still score the basketball. Offense is and will also be his strength. Because of that, a sixth man role would probably suit him best. He would be relied upon to score the ball, much like Sixth Man of the Year award winners Jamal Crawford, Lou Williams and J.R. Smith.

However, this option is nearly as unlikely to happen as Anthony playing center. When asked about coming off the bench, Anthony just laughed, providing the only answer you need as to whether he thinks he will be coming off the bench or not.
