2. Zach Randolph not expecting suspension

Another one of the new faces at Sacramento Kings Media Day this year was Zach Randolph. Randolph appeared to be in line for a suspension earlier in the offseason after being arrested on marijuana-related charges. However, the charges were reduced to “delaying an officer” and Randolph was ordered to serve 150 hours of community service.

Despite the charges being dropped, there was concern about Zach Randolph potentially missing some games next season due to a suspension. However, he dispelled that concern rather quickly on Media Day:

In a later interview with Cowbell Kingdom, Randolph gave a more detailed discussion of the situation:

While Randolph’s arrest seemed to be a major potential issue earlier in the summer, all news from Media Day points to him being fully cleared for the season ahead.
