The Milwaukee Bucks officially kicked off their season and training camp at the 2017-18 Media Day. What can we take away from the exciting day?

The NBA no longer sleeps during the offseason. Instead, blockbuster trades, drawn-out contract negotiations and secret Twitter accounts have made the league a 12-month event, with major headlines surfacing every week. Even so, the Milwaukee Bucks have been on something of a hiatus.

But a few months to relax and recuperate, to train and to build a brand, have now come to an end. On Monday, the Milwaukee Bucks gathered back as a team once more, kicking off the season at the team’s annual Media Day.

Every major part of the organization was present, from the four-person ownership group to the entire roster. Giannis Antetokounmpo was seemingly everywhere, conducting interviews one second and learning to juggle the next.

Media Day is a crucial opportunity for local and national media to engage with the team, asking important questions but also beginning to build or repair relationships from the past. It also gives the players and the time the most obvious offseason platform to speak against injustice.

What were the biggest topics during 2017-18 Media Day for the Bucks? And how do those topics connect with the season to come for Milwaukee?
