3. Bulls will discuss current political climate as a team

Some NFL players have been kneeling during the national anthem as a way to express their disagreement with the injustices that exist in certain areas of society.

Over this past weekend, President Donald Trump added fuel to the fire, stating that NFL players should be fired for protesting and that the owner(s) who terminated their employees would become the most popular person in the country — which is the toned-down version of what he actually said.

Well aware of the potential divisiveness such rhetoric can create, vice president of operations John Paxson advised the Bulls will get together to discuss the recent events and determine how they will address the subject matter as a team.

"“It is something we are going to talk about again and come to some agreement on what to do,” Paxson told Chicago.CBSLocal.com. “I’ll leave it at that. We understand the magnitude of what’s going on, how divisive things are right now. The great thing about sports is how it can bring people together. That’s what I think you’re going to see happen more and more now because of what’s going on.”"

Needless to say, it’s always a good thing when an entire team is on the same page from the guys at the top to the players on the court each night. This will serve as a positive for a season that will be filled with its fair share of headaches.
