Here’s a list of five goals for Portland Trail Blazers shooting guard C.J. McCollum in the upcoming 2017-18 NBA season.

C.J. McCollum of the Portland Trail Blazers is a star in the making. At the age of 26, he remains one of the more dynamic, offense-minded shooting guards in the league, playing complement to Damian Lillard.

Drafted 10th overall by the Blazers during the 2013 NBA Draft, McCollum began his NBA career as a backup, starting no more than three games in his first two seasons. Since being promoted to his current job as the starting off-guard, he’s become a staple in Portland’s offense, earning the NBA’s Most Improved Player award by the end of the 2015-16 season.

His rise to prominence continued into the next season, after which he finished with career-high averages in points (22.9 per game), rebounds (3.6 per game), field goal percentage (48.0), 3-point percentage (42.0) and free throw percentage (91.2).

Now heading into his fifth NBA season, McCollum will certainly be looking to further solidify himself amongst the NBA’s most elite guards. Here’s a list of five goals that will help him get to where he wants to be.
