1. Guide the Pelicans to the playoffs

Cousins has played in a total of 487 games in the league, and while he has garnered a myriad of individual accolades in his career, the man known as Boogie has never had the opportunity of suiting up in the playoffs, playing on losing teams every season.

Although things must go in the right direction for that to happen, the Pelicans now boast two of the game’s finest stars in Cousins and Davis, who can help New Orleans vault atop of the Western Conference standings next season.

While their overall success will likely fall upon how members of the supporting cast play, Cousins must find a way to make it happen. He will be an unrestricted free agent at the end of next season, and with the lack of valuable assets on the Pelicans’ current roster, the time to win is right now.
