2. Make All-NBA First Team

DeMarcus Cousins is arguably the game’s most talented center since Shaquille O’Neal.

Over the past three years, Cousins has averaged over 20 points and 10 rebounds per game, en route to earning multiple All-Star appearances — proving to be a matchup nightmare for his peers since the turn of the decade.

The 2016 Olympic gold medalist has been selected to the All-NBA Second Team twice in his career, but he’s never had the pleasure of making the First Team. This should motivate Cousins to put together his best season yet.

While many people might believe that it could be due to his volatile attitude, it is quite hard to believe that Cousins has not achieved this feat. He can score in the paint, shoot from anywhere on the floor, and owns handles similar to a point guard. While writers could have held his ways against him, this goal should come into existence sooner rather than later if Cousins is able to help guide the Pelicans to the promised land.
