As they move forward into the new season, the Utah Jazz have a number of options they can go to to create advantages over their opponents. Here are five lineups that could give them an edge.

A hallmark of the Utah Jazz’s 2016-17 season was their versatility and depth, which allowed them to overcome injury and a lack of top-tier superstar talent to finish as one of the best teams in the league.

With a number of competent options at each position, they could contort their on-court matchups to reflect whatever style of play best suited them at the time, whether that was a guard-heavy look or one with multiple big men.

The Jazz may have lost their best player in Gordon Hayward, but they return virtually every other piece, along with a diverse crop of newcomers that should help them regain the status they previously held.

With that, here’s a look at five different lineups that Quin Snyder can run out for one purpose or another, whether to highlight a certain player or match up with an eccentric play style.
