The Indiana Pacers are a team in transition going into the 2017-18 season. Here are five bold predictions for their upcoming NBA campaign.

The Indiana Pacers are a wildcard going into the 2017-18 season. They’ve had significant roster turnover this summer, and even the core of the team has been altered a great deal.

There are projected to be three new starters this year: point guard Darren Collison, shooting guard Victor Oladipo and small forward Bojan Bogdanovic.

The bench has also been restructured, as point guard Cory Joseph and power forward Domantas Sabonis are expected to play key roles in their first season with Indiana.

The returning players are also caught up in the transition, as virtually every one of them will have a new role with the club.

Starting center Myles Turner is probably the player most affected by the rebuild, as he is now being looked upon as a leader and potential top scorer in only his third NBA season.

The Pacers are a rather unpredictable group heading into the 2017-18 campaign, but here are five bold predictions for the Blue and Gold as they enter the post-Paul George era and begin to build a new legacy for the franchise.
