Re-signed Reggie Bullock

With Drummond and Jackson as core pieces, the Pistons will never add what seems like too much shooting. They shot 33 percent from deep last year (No. 28 in the league), and spent this offseason addressing the issue.

Re-signing Reggie Bullock fits that M.O. The 26-year-old forward shot a career-high 38.4 percent last year, though he only appeared in 31 games.

He has struggled mightily with health and consistency throughout his career, so it is unrealistic to expect much this season. At two years and $5 million with the second year not guaranteed, however, there was little reason not to bring him back. He has more upside than most minimum-level swingmen, and is familiar with the system.

With that being said, there is a level of risk here. Detroit is entering the season with a rookie, the injury-prone Bradley and the extremely injury-prone Bullock as its only viable shooting guards.
