The Washington Wizards will look to improve their best season in decades with the help of big man Markieff Morris. Here are five goals for his 2017-18 season.

The Washington Wizards are in no shortage of options when it comes to scoring and Markieff Morris has proven himself capable of providing more than just that. Despite being painted as a villainous type of character and finding himself in trouble early in his career, he has since broken out of the shell of his former self.

Morris is now hailed as an excellent teammate from others and is often a leader on the court, finding himself sitting right in the middle of the pack in the starting rotation in terms of age. With that being said, that is also where Morris finds himself in good position for the present time with the Wizards, but also for the future of his career.

Morris is approaching his prime at the completion of six NBA seasons, and this year can be huge and telling of his market value going forward.

Currently, he is working on returning to his form where he started early on his career, appearing in 80+ games for three consecutive seasons. Morris appeared in 76 games last season and fought through an ankle injury through the playoffs, but still performed well.

Here are five goals to help Markieff Morris reach his full potential for the Washington Wizards as they head into the 2017-18 season.
