The Process is beginning to make a transition for the Philadelphia 76ers. Here are five bold predictions for the 2017-18 season.

The Philadelphia 76ers look like they’re ready to make a move in the 2017-18 season. They had a big offseason, signing some veterans and youth to their roster and now, they look towards a potential run at the 2018 NBA Playoffs.

The Sixers finished the 2016-17 season with a 28-54 record, winning 18 more games than the previous season (10-72). They still were in the NBA Draft Lottery, but recent moves have them looking toward winning in 2017-18.

Head coach Brett Brown looks to be the right man for the job here and his next goal is to build team chemistry among his group of guys.

Now, the Philadelphia 76ers have quality 3-point shooting in veteran J.J. Redick and rookie Markelle Fultz. They’ve created depth in the frontcourt with the acquisition of Amir Johnson.

With the health of Ben Simmons hanging in the balance, Philadelphia isn’t too far from a breakthrough. Simmons was cleared for 5-on-5 play when the summer began, but he was held out of NBA Summer League for obvious reasons.

The potential for the Sixers to succeed is there, they just have to capitalize and embrace their roles. Here’s a look at five bold predictions for the Philadelphia 76ers in 2017-18.
