The Phoenix Suns have a few household names on their roster like Devin Booker, and Eric Bledsoe. However, don’t be surprised when you start to regularly talking about Tyler Ulis, T.J. Warren, Derrick Jones Jr. and Alan Williams this year.

The Phoenix Suns are building a team and the culture surrounding them for the future. Backed by a budding superstar in Devin Booker, and a franchise point guard in Eric Bledsoe, the Suns are taking the rebuild in the right direction, step by step.

“The Timeline” has been a motto that many Phoenix supporters have backed this offseason, and Booker, Marquese Chriss and Josh Jackson are the focal points to that. However, there are players on the roster that are going to have to step up and increase their role this season to help continue the ball rolling in the right direction.

Part of the process in Phoenix is surrounding the team’s top players with solid, young pieces. Four names that will emerge in household conversations this season as consistent contributors will be Tyler Ulis, T.J. Warren, Derrick Jones Jr. and Alan Williams.

Each one of these players is still trying to prove his worth at the NBA level, and show signs of serious improvement each time he steps out on the court representing the Suns. With the roster changes heading into this season due to cuts, injuries and new arrivals, Ulis, Warren, Jones and Williams all are in line for an uptick in minutes and an increased role with the team. Let’s take a deeper dive at what we can expect from these players.
