12. Cameron Payne

Through his first two years in the league, Cameron Payne is known for two things: His hilarious pregame dance routines with Russell Westbrook, and his propensity for riding the bench due to injury.

As a rookie, Payne only played 57 games, entering the season with a broken finger. Then he entered his second season recovering from foot surgery, and he was limited to a combined 31 games between the Oklahoma City Thunder and Chicago Bulls.

Now, despite being part of a pu-pu platter of point guard options for the Bulls, Payne still can’t separate himself from the pack, since the underwhelming 23-year-old won’t be on the court until November thanks to another foot surgery.

At this rate, Payne can’t even stay healthy enough for pregame dance routines anymore. In a potential make-or-break third season, he’ll have an awful lot to prove in a backcourt with plenty of options but not any good answers…even if his team option for 2018-19 is only $3.3 million.
