It is likely that Dwyane Wade and the Chicago Bulls will soon part ways, so could the NBA superstar end up playing in Los Angeles?

The Chicago Bulls have had quite a busy offseason.

Dwyane Wade decided to opt-in to the second year of his contract. Jimmy Butler was sent to the Minnesota Timberwolves in exchange for Kris Dunn and Zach LaVine. Lauri Markkanen was drafted.

For a front office not exactly known for movement, general manager Gar Forman and vice president John Paxson sure went to work this summer.

And supposedly, there is still more change to come.

Although neither party has officially made any statement regarding the topic, there have been reports of a looming buyout between Wade and the Bulls. Because while the 35-year-old may have agreed to come back for a second year and collect his $24 million, there is seemingly no love left for his hometown.

Why?

Well for starters, Chicago has now entered a rebuilding stage, which is probably not something the NBA superstar wishes to be a part of when he only has a few years left to play. It probably did not help that Butler was traded off without so much as a warning. There also seems to be tension between the guard and the younger guys on the team, potentially leading to more locker room drama down the line.

But no matter the reason, eventually, something will have to give. Likely by way of a buyout, but maybe even a trade.

Regardless, the question is: where will Wade end up next?

Recently, Los Angeles has come up as a possible answer. So here are four reasons why L.A. actually makes sense as a destination, whether it be with the Los Angeles Clippers or the Los Angeles Lakers.
