John Wall accepted a contract extension coming off a career year with the Washington Wizards. Here are five goals to have him ensure even more success in 2017-18.

The Washington Wizards are in a position that separates them from their crowd of competitors: worry-free about their star players wishing to play elsewhere.

If anything was made clear this offseason, it’s that the Wizards’ core of talent couldn’t be happier with the team and the direction it is headed. John Wall made certain to all fans and those inside the organization that this is where he wants to be and where he wishes to remain for years to come.

Above all else, not many players had as great a year as John Wall had. He should be regarded as not only one of the best point guards in the league, but one of the best players. He has not exactly been away from the public eye, continuing to work tirelessly on his game while others are taking some well-deserved time off this summer.

For a player of his caliber coming off a season averaging 23.1 points and 10.7 assists per game (his third straight season averaging a double-double), he can be difficult to critique.

With that being said, here are five goals for John Wall’s 2017-18 season to top what was his most successful campaign yet.
