Washington Wizards: 5 goals for Bradley Beal in 2017-18

3. Limit turnovers
Any real veteran or expert will likely tell you in basketball and even in life to never stop learning. The same goes for Bradley Beal as well, for once again, as talented he may be on offense, the smallest of errors are what prevent him from reaching elite player status.
In this case, we are talking about taking care of the ball and not giving the other team easy turnovers. With the same metric used previously of starting at least 70 games and averaging at least 30 minutes of play last season, Beal finished with the sixth-lowest turnover ratio of 8.2.
While not terrible, here is where he can improve and prevent many of his turnovers and become maybe the most reliable guard in the league in this aspect.
Of his 156 turnovers last season, 83 of those were the result of a bad pass, which translates into just over half of his total turnovers. With Scott Brooks recently proposing the idea of Beal becoming a facilitator at times without Wall on the court, you should see where this may be an issue.
However, if these are the worst areas of Bradley Beal’s repertoire, the sliver lining is that all of these are areas that are very possible to improve on.
