Strength No. 3: Playoff experience

Experience is something that can’t be replaced by mere talent. And the Toronto Raptors have gained plenty of valuable playoff experience over the past few years.

The Raptors have made four consecutive playoff appearances, including a trip to the Eastern Conference Finals in 2016. Lowry, DeRozan and Valanciunas have played an integral role in each playoff run, and that has made them better players.

Serge Ibaka made his first playoff appearance back in 2010, before making the NBA Finals in 2012. C.J. Miles has playoff experience namely during his days in Utah in the Deron WilliamsCarlos Boozer era and in the past few seasons in Indiana.

The Raptors are a fairly young team at an average age of 25.2 years. But they have a great mix of young players and vets. The Toronto Raptors will continue to make the postseason for the foreseeable future, and the older players on the team will serve as a guide for the younger players as they begin to fill their roles for the team.
