4. Average 25 points per game

Jimmy Butler has managed to increase his scoring average in each of his first six seasons in the NBA.

Only Arron Afflalo and Derek Harper have ever upped their point per game total in seven consecutive seasons. Butler can join the exclusive group, but he will need to submit an exceptional season to accomplish the feat.

Last season, Butler posted 23.9 points per game, the 14th-highest scoring mark in the league as Chicago enabled him to attempt 16.5 shots a night — a necessity as the most prolific scorer on the team.

Reaching an average of 25 points per game, something only Kevin Love and Karl-Anthony Towns have accomplished in franchise history, is a worthy aspiration for Butler.

Throughout his career, the Marquette product has been one of the most potent offensive forces in the league. Butler has a career offensive rating of 118.2, the third-highest among all active players.

Last season, Butler poured in 25 or more points on 34 occasions, indicating just how effective he can be at placing the ball in the net.

The proclivity of coach Tom Thibodeau to play his premier players extended minutes could be enough for Butler to accomplish such a lofty scoring mark, and with a highly potent offensive attack around him, easy scoring opportunities may become available.
