Philadelphia 76ers: Biggest strengths and weaknesses for 2017-18
Weakness No. 3: The Sixers need to establish a go-to man on offense
The Philadelphia 76ers have tons of talent on the roster for the 2017-18 season. In a way, it’s both a gift and a curse for a team looking to make the NBA Playoffs.

While having plenty of talent is a good thing, the downside to that is at some point, they need to establish roles for their players. In this case, the Sixers still haven’t quite identified their go-to man on offense.
The lack of a go-to man on offense last season hurt them a bit. They averaged 102.4 points per game as team, 25th in the NBA. Joel Embiid did well to set himself apart from the rest, but when he got injured, the offense stalled.
Fultz and Redick should add to the offensive production, but to what extent? Redick averaged 15.0 points in 28.2 minutes per game last season. At 33 years old, Redick still has some juice left in the tank, but can Philadelphia rely on him as a primary scoring option?
One big thing the Philadelphia 76ers need to establish in the preseason is their scoring hierarchy. Fultz and Simmons will probably come first as primary ballhandlers, but what about Robert Covington? Does Nik Stauskas still have a spot in the rotation?
