7. Tayshaun Prince (SF) — No. 23 pick in 2002 NBA Draft

Career stats (with the Pistons):  435 GP, 21.6 PPG, 7.9 RPG, 6.3 APG, 1.6 SPG, 0.6 BPG, 1.2 TOV, 45.9 FG%, 37.1 3P%, 76.4 FT%

The Detroit Pistons drafted Tayshaun Prince with the 23rd pick in the first round of the 2002 NBA Draft.

Prince’s defensive skills made him an important part of the 2004 championship team. A four-time member of the NBA’s All-Defensive team, Prince’s block on Indiana’s Reggie Miller help pave the way to the Pistons winning their third NBA championship. His appearances on the All-NBA Defensive team were consecutive.

He was a dependable player who missed very few games while in Detroit. He played at least 78 games in all but two of those seasons, averaging at least 32 minutes each year.

In 2013, the Pistons sent Prince to Memphis just prior to the trade deadline. He left Detroit ranked fifth in games played in a Pistons uniform.
