2. The Bulls will barely top 20 wins

Over the past two seasons, the Bulls have been just a smudge above .500. During that stretch, they have compiled an 83-81 record — not a mark worth bragging about by any means.

Fast forward to the present and the story is about to get a bit gloomy after trading away their top player in Butler.

They also parted ways with Rondo, who was not only the best point guard on the roster last season, but served well as a mentor to the younger players too. With his departure, the Bulls now have a group of unproven players at one of the most important positions on the roster.

This, along with the fact there is no veteran leadership to speak of, it is very difficult to see this squad coming anywhere close to the less-than-impressive win totals we’ve seen the last two seasons.

ESPN‘s Kevin Pelton predicts the Bulls will finish as the second-worst team in the East with 28.5 wins. While I do agree with the first half of this assessment, I’m going to take it a step further and say the Bulls will be lucky to win between 20-22 games.
