Centers

Jusuf Nurkic: 81 (+3)

Zach Collins: 72

Jusuf Nurkic displayed in a short amount of time that he could be the key third piece that the Blazers need to compete. In 20 games, Nurkic averaged 15.2 points and 10.4 rebounds per game for the Blazers. However, the run was cut short by a leg injury that sidelined him for the remainder of the season. He attempted to come back during the first round of the playoffs, but only lasted 17 minutes.

A season of rehab for his injury and improving his body could propel him into key starter status. 2K Sports will likely recognize this, placing his overall over 80.

Zach Collins was a draft pick the Blazers really wanted. So much so, they traded the rights to Justin Jackson and Harry Giles to the Sacramento Kings to acquire him.

Collins is a high upside pick, drafted between Dennis Smith (76) and Malik Monk (75). However, he spent 2016-17 coming off the bench behind a player that went undrafted. There’s a good chance 2K will start low with his rating, placing him at the same rating as fellow high-upside center Bam Adebayo. But don’t be surprised if Collins is able to improve his rating substantially over the course of 2K18’s life.
