With 30 All-Time Franchise Teams coming to NBA 2K18, who could potentially make the starting lineup for the Portland Trail Blazers?

The Portland Trail Blazers have a storied NBA history. The franchise possesses one world championship and three conference titles.  They’ve had six Hall of Famers don their uniforms and two walk the sidelines. The team has had 16 All-Stars and seven All-NBA players.

Meanwhile, the NBA 2K series has worked to produce a virtual simulation of the league since its inaugural edition in 1999. Each iteration gets closer to reality.

Classic players have had a place in the game since the beginning. However, the turn of this decade saw developer Visual Concepts begin putting additional resources into highlighting past players and teams.

The Blazers have had some of their history emulated in the process. The 63-win 1990-91 team was introduced in NBA 2K11. The 59-win 1999-00 team was later added in NBA 2K16, noticeably missing star forward Rasheed Wallace.

Now, the series is going even further with its historical content. NBA 2K18, set for worldwide release on Sept. 19, will feature 16 new classic teams as well as all-time teams for all 30 NBA franchises.

With that revelation, fans can’t help but speculate which players Visual Concepts will place each all-time team. In this article, we will look into who may make the cut for the Portland Trail Blazers.

This list will mostly focus on which players will make the starting lineup. However, at the end of the article, we will also delve into who else may fill out the roster.

The decisions in this list are made based on a couple of factors. The players’ accomplishments as a Blazer is highly important. However, this list also takes the players’ availability in recent games via NBA 2K’s official roster or the MyTEAM team-building mode. Outside of one selection, every player is already in the NBA 2K player pool.

So which Blazers make the cut for the starting lineup? Who may you be seeing when you select the All-Time Trail Blazers once the game releases? Click through to find out.
