Atlanta Hawks: 5 goals for Dwayne Dedmon in 2017-18
3. Score 20 points for the first time in his career
During the 2016-17 season, 31 players averaged over 20 points per game, but Dewayne Dedmon has failed to reach the scoring benchmark once in his 224 career appearances.
The closest Dedmon has ever come came against Chicago in 2016, as he scored 18 points in 22 minutes. Dedmon converted 9-of-14 shot attempts and grabbed 13 rebounds in the contest.

Collecting offensive rebounds will be the key for Dedmon to achieve the feat.
The best outing Dedmon last year came against Detroit, as he totaled 17 points and 17 rebounds, with five coming on the offensive end.
Points were difficult to come by for Atlanta last season, as the team averaged 103.2 per game, the eighth-fewest in the league. During the offseason, three of the top four scorers were either traded away or left in free agency.
The Hawks have only one player — point guard Dennis Schroder — to average over 15 points per game for a season in their career, so the team is going to need other players to contribute.
A good starting point would be for Dedmon to set a career-high in scoring at some point next season.
