The Oklahoma City Thunder will be on television a lot this season, with the fourth-most nationally televised games in 2017-18. Oklahoma City will be national television for almost half of its games — 37 to be exact.

The Golden State Warriors have the most, with 43, followed by the Houston Rockets with 40 and Cleveland Cavaliers with 39. The Los Angeles Lakers round out the top-five with 35 games on national television.

The NBA has good reason to have the Thunder in the national spotlight as often as possible. The reigning MVP and Mr. Triple-Double himself, Russell Westbrook, is their starting point guard. They also pulled off one of the bigger surprises of the offseason, acquiring Paul George in a trade with the Indiana Pacers.

With two bonafide stars now on the roster, the Thunder have improved their chances in what looks to be a loaded Western Conference. The additions they made put them squarely in the conversation for home-court advantage in the postseason, something that ultimately did them in during the playoffs in late April.

The roster is more well-rounded for the upcoming season compared to last year’s team. It will be a team that is on full display throughout the season with all of those nationally televised games.

Which games are the ones that stand out the most? Here’s a look at the five must-watch games for Thunder fans this upcoming season.
