Strength: Playoff experience

The Thunder are coming off a season where they made the playoffs, and have made the postseason for six of the last seven years. The playoffs are nothing new for the current players on the roster.

If you exclude Alex Abrines and Semaj Christon and their one year of playoff experience obtained last year, the players on the Thunder have been through thick and thin in the playoffs. Everybody knows Westbrook’s playoff exploits. Andre Roberson, Steven Adams, and Enes Kanter have been with the team since the time Kevin Durant was there, before he infamously chose Golden State over OKC.

Patrick Patterson was with the Toronto Raptors during times they were playing deep in the playoffs. Raymond Felton recently played on the Los Angeles Clippers where they played in the playoffs every year, even before Felton got there. The playoff experience with this group will help a team expected to be serious contenders in the West.
