The Oklahoma City Thunder now know their schedule for the 2017-18 season and they have to work to work out their weaknesses and make sure they exceed expectations this season.

The Oklahoma City Thunder have new players that are supposed to help the team in areas they struggled with last year.

Russell Westbrook needed help. The Thunder traded for Paul George. They needed a backup point guard. They got Raymond Felton. They needed a stretch-4 type of player. They got Patrick Patterson.

Are these pieces enough? The Thunder have several strengths and weaknesses that will help and hurt them going into this season. OKC isn’t bad on paper. They have more scoring out of their starting lineup with Paul George and Patrick Patterson being inserted into the group. It is also rumored that 3-point specialist Alex Abrines will be put in the starting lineup.

Westbrook just won the MVP so that is good for the team’s morale going into the season, but in order to sort out expectations for the 2017-18 campaign, here’s a look at three strengths and three weaknesses for the Oklahoma City Thunder.
