If LeBron James is really going to bail on the Cleveland Cavaliers again, which teams have the best odds of signing him during 2018 NBA free agency?

Just when you think all of the offseason hoopla about LeBron James have quieted down, someone turns the volume back up. Suddenly, we find ourselves in a situation where rumors are indicating that the King has made up his mind to wear his crown on a different throne next season.

Then again, I feel like we’ve heard this one before. And yet, it feels different this time around. I’m not entirely sure why, but all of the signs seem to indicate that there could be some merit to the latest whispers from around the NBA.

Could LeBron really be leaving the Cleveland Cavaliers again, opting to chase more rings (or business opportunities) elsewhere?

Based on Chris Sheridan’s tweet from Wednesday, the decision has already been made:

Of course, several folks immediately refuted Sheridan’s assertions. While that may be the case, I tend to follow the mindset that where there’s smoke, there’s fire. That’s not to say that I completely agree that James already has one foot out the door. I do, however, believe that he’s soured a bit on the Cavaliers and is seriously weighing his options for next offseason.
