Which players will make the starting five for the All-Time Toronto Raptors team in NBA 2K18?
The Toronto Raptors franchise started just a couple of decades ago in 1995. They, along with the Vancouver Grizzlies, were a part of the NBA’s expansion into Canada.
The Grizzlies relocated to Memphis in 2001, leaving the Raptors as the face of basketball in Canada.
In the Raptors’ first 22 seasons, they’ve made the playoffs just nine times, in an Eastern Conference that is typically weaker than the West. But all is not lost, because the current squad in Toronto has enjoyed the most sustained success in the franchise’s history.
In the 2015-16 season, the Raptors finished second in the East with a 56-26 record. It was the first time that a Raptors team won at least 50 games in a season.
Toronto has qualified for a playoff spot in the last four seasons, the longest stretch in franchise history. Toronto managed to re-sign its core in the offseason, and barring a catastrophic chain of events, they’ll make the playoffs for a fifth straight year.
In 2K Sports’ upcoming video game, NBA 2K18, each NBA franchise will have an All-Time team. As the name suggests, all 30 teams will have a designated roster featuring the best players to ever suit up for each franchise.
The Toronto Raptors have had a bevy of star players in the past 22 years that qualify for one of the 12 roster spots on the All-Time team. But only five players will break into the starting lineup.
